This victory set the stage for his second triumph in the vault final. He achieved an average score of 15.116, overtaking Armenia’s Artur Davtyan (14.966) and Britain’s Harry Hepworth (14.949).

Additionally, the House of Representatives has announced an additional 6 million pesos (around $103,511 USD) in cash incentives, with Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez praising Yulo as a “sports hero” and “national treasure.”
A Shower of Gifts: Condo, Cash and Ramen
Beyond cash rewards, Yulo’s victories have garnered a plethora of gifts and endorsements from both the government and local brands. Megaworld, Filipino real estate giant, has promised him a fully furnished three-bedroom condo in McKinley Hill. This is the largest condominium development in Manila that valued at $414,046 USD. This generous gesture demonstrates the nation’s appreciation for Yulo’s dedication.
In addition, many restaurant chains have also announced that they will serve Yulo for free for life. Such as ramen, mac and cheese, grilled chicken, and buffet meals. A gastroenterologist promised free consultations and colonoscopies for life. The University of Mindanao said they are willing to provide free college credits to support his educational pursuits
Mayor Honey Lacuna Celebrate Hero’s Welcome
As Yulo gets ready to return home, Manila is organizing a grand celebration to honor his achievements. Mayor Honey Lacuna announced, “The grandest welcome will greet him and all our Paris Olympians. When we meet him, we will present Carlos Yulo with cash incentives, awards, and symbols of the eternal gratitude of the proud capital city of the Philippines.”
Prominent figures in the Philippines, including President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, have publicly congratulated Yulo. “No words can express how proud we are of you, Caloy. You have achieved GOLD for the Philippines not once, but twice! Filipinos all over the world stood united, cheering and rooting for you,” President Marcos wrote on Facebook.
