MANILA, Philippines – In a move that strengthens its commitment to Philippine sports, OKBet has renewed its partnership with the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL), just in time for the league’s highly anticipated 2023-2024 season. The renewal ceremony, held a day after Valentine’s, marks another milestone in the collaboration between the leading gaming platform and the national basketball league.

Acquisition of Makati OKBet Kings
At the event, OKBet announced its acquisition of the rights to the Makati OKBet Kings. The team will compete against at least 29 other squads from various cities and provinces across the Philippines when the MPBL season kicks off on March 10. Former PBA players Don Dulay and Rob Wainwright are set to lead the Makati OKBet Kings, with Dulay stating, “We’re trying to finalize our team and we’ll start having our tryouts.”
Commitment to Sports Development
OKBet’s support for the MPBL extends beyond mere sponsorship. Following the sealing of a historic deal last year, OKBet launched the “Play It Forward” sports development program.
